What Year groups do you teach?
We offer one to one tutoring sessions and group sessions coming soon between the age of 4 and 16, covering year groups from KS1 to KS4.
Do you teach children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?
Yes, we are currently teaching a range of children with varying education needs and have experience in this including those with dyslexia, ADHD, autism , speech delay / communication, Anxiety.
Will I be updated on my child’s progress ?
Yes, you will be updated on your child’s progress at Sam’s learning lab. We understand the importance of it ……. We provide regular updates including progress reports and verbal feedback so you can track your child’s progress.
How can I motivate my child at home ?
To motivate your child to prepare for exams at home , create a structured study schedule. Make drift by enjoyable by incorporating interactive activities such as quizzes and educational games. Provide positive reinforcements and rewards for their efforts and achievements. Be a supportive and encouraging presence offering guidance and assistant when needed.

Will my child need to buy any resources ?
After 5 sessions the resources will be provided by us , including exercise books and stationery. We start to ensure that our students have all the necessary materials to support their learning and make the tutoring experience as effective as possible.
What equipment is needed for online lessons?
A laptop or tablet, a stable internet connection, a notebook, and a pen or pencil.
Will my child be given homework ?
Yes, we will be happy to provide homework upon request per subject that is studied at Sam’s Learning Lab.
What subjects do we offer tutoring in?
At Sam’s Learning Lab, we offer tutoring services on a wide range of subjects. Apart from our subject specialism of preparing children for their 11+ and SATS exams our other popular subjects such as English, Math ,Reading ,Phonics and GCSE. The phonic sessions are aimed at those who have started reception and are preparing for their year 1 phonics screen check.
